As the clock strikes nighttime, the fusion of fashion and philanthropy began at One Ayala, Makati for KMC Solutions’ very first fashion show for a cause last May 10 with the theme “Kaugmaon.” Kaugmaon is a Visayan word that means ‘Future,’ allowing us all to traverse into the future of fashion while securing the future of its chosen beneficiaries. LVNA by Drake Dustin is proud to be a part of this superb show which aligns with our Stay Brilliant Foundation's promise to the community to be a beacon of hope. Proceeds of the event will go to A Child’s Dream Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Baguio City that offers pediatric therapy for exceptional needs children.

LVNA is one of the event's major sponsors and it participated in a trunk show prior to the fashion proper. Many attendees were drawn to the LVNA booth which was situated on the aesthetically pleasing floor of KMC One Ayala. An auction for KMC Cares Charity was also held where LVNA’s baguette diamond ring was sold for P55,000 in line with the brand’s ongoing Mother’s Day campaign. The auctioned fine jewelry piece was designed specifically for the most special woman in our lives— our mothers. “We are more than a flexible workspace. We are a hug of talent, bringing in the brightest minds in various industries to collaborate, to innovate, and to create,” KMC Solutions’ Associate Director Therese Reyes-Hilario said in her opening remarks of the flamboyant event. The fancy evening features a stunning collection of local designers in collaboration with the Fashion Designer Alliance of the Philippines and the Fashion Accessory Makers of the Philippines.

This night of spectacular celebration of style and generosity took our breath away as each designer showcased and expressed their talent in the art of fashion without losing touch with the magnificent Philippine culture. Top-notch creations of Filipino designers were exhibited such as Ehran Montoya, Xiao Chiu, Tipay Caintic, Julianne Paran, Micheal Chiu Rosero, Job Dacon, Kirby Cruz, Le Ngok, Anna Cheung, Vilrique, Epitome of Ebe, Erjohn Dela Serna, and the main highlight of the night as one of the famous names in the Philippine Fashion industry, none other than Thian Rodiguez.

In an interview with LVNA by Drake Dustin, Thian sincerely expressed how meaningful it is for him to be a part of KMC Solutions’ initiative to help those in need while showcasing the talent of Filipino designers. “For me, whenever I was invited to do a show, it’s like an affirmation ‘yon sa’kin na ginagawa ko tama, na ginagawa ko maganda, na nagugustuhan ng tao. When I was starting kasi, I always doubt myself na may magkakagusto ba ng gawa ko? Meron bang magsusuot? Kaya pag may mga ganitong klaseng event, very important sa’kin kasi I was able to showcase my craft, my talent, and aside from that ‘yung makakatulong ka sa ibang tao. Art is not just about an expression of yourself, dapat may purpose ‘yung art. And for me, my purpose tonight is to help A Child’s Dream Foundation. So I’m very privileged that they tapped me to do this.”
