Wherever she walks, her presence will definitely not go unnoticed–indeed, “versatility” is an understatement when it comes to Nadine Lustre who once again wowed everyone with her iconic walk during the first day of the BYS Fashion Week held in Bonifacio Global City, musing for RAFA WORLDWIDE’s latest collection, named Hyperballad as a walkway finale. Lustre graced the cherry dress with bead-embellished crafted through recycled paper magazine pages with her long wavy tresses and perfectly adorned by the captivating and valuable ruby piece decked on her neck from LVNA By Drake Dustin.

It is a successive fashion week for Nadine indeed, from the Paris runway to the Manila runway, she definitely graced every runway she walked into. Talents behind this glamorous look of Nadine Lustre were her stylist Lyn Alumno, the makeup slayer, Jelly Eugenio, and the fab hairstylist, Paul Nebres.
Everyone will agree that no one can wear this masterpiece better than Nadine Lustre who has always been passionate about advocating not only for environmental acts but also for body positivity, inclusivity, and the concept of self-expression. She is the “icon” for beauty and confidence for a reason, an inspiration to many– she is the “president” Nadine Lustre for being so fierce and dedicated to her various advocacies and using her voice and platform actively in breaking barriers and stigma in society.

RAFA WORLDWIDE made the debut of the Hyperballad collection at the BYS Fashion Week 2023, which was described as “architectural, edgy, unconventional” and “explores the exaggerated organic forms and patterns.” Behind the inspiration for this collection was very personal to its designer, Raf Villa conveying his emotions growing up as a queer individual amidst the societal norms in the Philippines. An expressive message in the form of art makes all these masterpieces form a meaningful collection. A fusion of art is what made Nadine Lustre’s look, the creativity, talent, and intelligence of its designer paired off with the artisan and craftsmanship of LVNA embedded in every jewel the brand produces.
It is without a doubt that the BYS Fashion Week reunited creatives, talents, designers, and artists to showcase every masterpiece and to express every meaning that has become an inspiration to them in creating every piece they get to showcase.
