The veteran actress shined as she accepts her award and delivered her speech wearing the brilliance of LVNA paired with the stunning black ruffle dress by the fashion designer Martin Bautista.

The "Iti Mapukpukaw (The Missing)," written and directed by Carl Joseph Papa, made history after being the first-ever full-length animated feature to win Best Film at the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. In Dolly de Leon’s acceptance speech, she was enthused over her award and shared how she was overwhelmed with happiness receiving this, “Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. Grabe! First time kong makatanggap at magsalita ng award dito sa Pilipinas.”

The global star Dolly de Leon has been making waves by bringing Filipino talents to the international scene, where she also made history of being the first Filipina to receive a Global Globes nomination admiring her performance in Ruben Ostlund’s film, Triangle of Sadness portraying the character of Abigail. Her character in this international film made Dolly de Leon receive nods and various nominations from different award shows such as Satellite Awards, National Society of Film Critics, BAFTA Film Awards, and bagged the trophy from Guldbagge Award for Best Actress in a supporting role and won the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards for Best Supporting Performance.
