The Logistics officer is responsible for providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the organization. Responsible for the planning, oversight, management, and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure the smooth accomplishment of projects. Responsible for the movement of goods and materials within an organization or between organizations. They plan, coordinate, and manage the flow of these materials to ensure that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition. Regardless of what they’re handling, they must be able to effectively plan out how best to move it from point A to point B.

Responsibilities/Skills:

• Coordinate and Track Shipments
• Manage Warehouse
• Developing plans for storage facilities such as warehouses or storage yards that can be used by other departments in the company.
• Coordinating shipping schedules and routes with transportation companies to ensure that goods arrive on time and without damage.
• Coordinating with customs officials at airports or seaports to ensure that incoming or outgoing shipments meet all legal requirements for entry into the country or export of goods.
