Liza Soberano was empowered to have her first speaking engagement in a Balmain black skirt and blazer set, styled by the Filipino stylist, Perry Tabora in the United States at Identity 2022 Festival held at the GRAMMY Museum. “First of all, thank you for having me. It feels surreal because it's my first time speaking on stage here in America. It has always been a dream of mine to be able to work out here so I'm really happy, I'm really excited, and it's an honor,” Liza Soberano said as she spoke on the stage. When she was asked what would be her advice to young Filipino women who are also aiming to succeed as an artist like her, the actress expressed that they shouldn’t be scared on going out of their comfort zone. “I would say to just go for it. A lot of the times it can be scary to kind of go outside your comfort zone and I, myself, am experiencing that now like it would be so much easier for me to just stay back at home and do the same thing that I’ve always been doing,” the Filipino-American actress genuinely answered.

Liza Soberano also added that she will pave the way for other aspiring young women who are dreaming to make a name for themselves in the future, “My personal goal is to be able to bridge the gap between the Philippines and America and help the younger generation, little girls, who also dream of coming out here and make a career for themselves and I wanna make it easier for them when they do that in the future and if it that means me taking the first leap, then so be it.”
